MUZIK exists to bridge the gap between Culture and Technology by collaborating with innovative software engineers to create powerful wearable devices supported by the most advanced Intelligent Assistant.
CHALLENGE
Muzik commissioned LSD to develop groundbreaking headphones that support and express their vision of smart, connected music products. The challenge was to create a design solution for earphones to be unique and luxurious, with intuitive controls, ease-of-use and a high degree of comfort. A key goal was to both express and demystify the many features of Muzik’s advanced Smartware technology. Smartware is the middle layer that powers Muzik’s devices and connects the user to all their favorite content and apps, MUZIK Experiences, social connections, group chat, group listening, radio and podcasts.
APPROACH
As a starting point, LSD launched research to update and expand our knowledge of the headphone market. This was followed by an in-depth exploration of existing and emerging sound and “connected” technologies. And finally, we conducted extensive research to understand and profile the end-user. The goal was to support Muzik’s technology and vision, and express it through elegant, sophisticated design.

Tech meets fashion-forward design. LUX makes an impact with superior sound, touch controls, Bluetooth, 20-hour battery life and a comfortable over-ear design. LSD worked from the inside out, starting with Muzik’s premium sound technology, to deliver the optimum music, sound and connected experience.
