Boulder Lantern
Lifestyledesign worked with Lander to innovate and design the Boulder Smart Lantern to complement and extend their Cairn family of lanterns. The challenge was to create a multi-featured lantern + high capacity power bank with up-to-date technology to support the range of portable devices inherent in modern outdoor and adventure activities.
The Boulder Lantern was conceived as a rugged and adaptable premium light and power source with multi-device wireless charging capabilities for camping, social gatherings, and group activities. The 350-Lumen lantern has a proximity lighting feature which adjusts light intensity based on how close one is to the unit. Built in Bluetooth means brightness can also be controlled with the phone app, including color changes and a strobe mode. The power bank provides up to 250 hours of light and can charge up to three devices simultaneously with wireless and plug-in charging ports. The Boulder is dustproof and waterproof with an IP65 rating.

The Boulder Lantern houses a power bank capable of charging multiple mobile devices via Qi coil and built-in USB ports.
VERSATILE ATTACHMENT OPTIONS
A multi-axis elastic tether snaps on and off and is useful for securing the Cairn in various ways; attached to a pack or bag, secured to the wrist or hung in a tent or on a tree branch.
HIDDEN / PROTECTED USB SLOTS
The waterproof lantern top pops up to reveal two USB and one micro-USB charging port, plus enough space to neatly wrap and store a charging cable.
